Short installation periods, expert planning and a unique site: the challenge of cruise ship waterparks
WhiteWater has installed waterpark and family attractions onto 13 Carnival Cruise Line Ships in the last 7 years. One particular project to note would be the Carnival Breeze that featured the first ever Ropes Course on a cruise ship and won an IAAPA Best New Product award for the innovative installation. Other key installations include a transparent acrylic Master Blaster along the perimeter of a ship, AquaPlay multi-level play structures and a speedy Flatline Loops that extends over the edge of the boat. The newest waterpark on a Carnival ship includes a Flatline Loop coming off of a 10 meter tower, a Poolsider, an AquaPlay AP150 and AquaSpray toys.
Waterslides on cruise ships allow travelers to seek a high thrill while enjoying a relaxing vacation. These products are especially popular for young kids and teens looking for some excitement while Mom and Dad lounge by the pool side. Cruise ship amenities are becoming more and more popular as a way for cruise lines to differentiate between classes as well as from their competitors.
